A.J. Walker, age 66, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ambrose and Cora Breeden Walker; brothers, Rex and Odell Walker and sister, Gladys Purkey. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Carol Simerly Walker; children, Janie and husband, Eddie Dockery, Terry Walker, and Vicky Reynolds all of Louisville, Julie McGuire and Travis and wife, Amanda Walker all of Maryville; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Ben Walker of Knoxville; sisters, Bea Allen of Knoxville, Alyene Weaver and Mildred Free both of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews. Special Thanks to Dr. Jeffrey S. Hecht MD and the Rehabilitation Center at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Joe Cantrell officiating. The interment will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Holston College Cemetery in Louisville. A.J. was able to fulfill his last wish, therefore the family would like memorial donations be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation of East Tennessee, P.O. Box 401, Chattanooga, TN 37401-0401 (423) 629-9474. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Miller
