She died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002.
She was born Sept. 13, 1936, in Crosbyton. She moved to Lubbock from Slaton in 1946 and attended Cooper schools. She was a bookkeeper for Dunlaps for 10 years and for Lena Stephens for five years. She was a member of Vandalia Church of Christ and taught Sunday school at New Deal Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Scotty Lee of Carnsville and Rocky Lynn of New Deal; two brothers, Bobby Douglas Ellison of Royston, Ga., and Billy Mack Ellison of Fresno, Calif., a sister, Texas Dawn Belt of Lubbock; and five grandchildren.
