Services were held Monday at Mills-Petrie chapel with Rev. Root. Wright, pastor of Parish Methodist church, officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Lawn cemetery, Parish.
In 1944, Deforest Davey (nephew) obtained a court order allowing him to open Arthur's safe deposit box to look for a will.
