She was born July 10, 1913, in Clinton, the daughter of James "Jack" and Lillian Reed Agee. She was owner and operator, with her husband, of Carl-Laws Mower Mart in Clinton. She was a Western Union operator. She loved to bake and was a lifelong Cubs fan. She was affiliated with First Baptist Church in Clinton. She married Carl Jay Laws on June 2, 1935, in Clinton. He preceded her in death April 15, 1999.
Surviving are her daughter, Carlene (Al) Morgan of Clinton; grandchildren, Kathi (Chris) Drozs and Carl (Mary) Morgan, both of Clinton; Wayne (Michelle) Morgan of Canton; Diana (Del) Henderson of Maryville; nine great-grandchildren.
Nannie will be missed by her family, friends and community.
