The funeral for Lida M. Anderson, 85, of Wisner will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Kuzelka-Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner.

She died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at Pender Community Hospital.

She was born Sept. 11, 1920, in Wisner to Fred and Lena (Strong) Rudebush. She attended Wisner Public School, graduating in 1938. She married Owen "Babe" Anderson on Aug. 14, 1941, in Papillion. She had worked as a waitress for many years at the several cafes in Wisner. Her husband preceded her in death Oct. 26, 1977. She had resided at Wisner Assisted Living Center for the past several years.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wisner.

Survivors include: a son, Gene (and wife, Iris) Anderson of Thornton, Colo.; two grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

She also was preceded in death by a grandchild, a sister and a brother.

The Rev. James P. Carretto will officiate Friday's service. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wisner Cemetery.
