She and her family moved to Muskogee, where she attended school and graduated from Muskogee (Central) High School. She moved to Tulsa, where she worked for Steve's Sundries. Later she returned to Muskogee, where she worked at Pleasant Valley Nursing Home. She married Oliver Williams in 1979.
Survivors include her husband of the home; one son, Bill, of Hot Springs, AR; and one daughter, Diane Brodrick, of Allen, TX; two sisters, Louise Chandler of Hot Springs, AR; and Patricia Cope of Wagoner; two brothers, Frank Richardson of Gore and Kenneth Richardson of Fort Worth, TX; and four grandchildren.
