NESBITT-­-­Stella Ann Nesbitt of 2075 Laura Street, Springfield died November 27, 1974.­

A lifelong resident of Lane County, she was born September 8, 1883 at Junction City, Oregon and was married to Allen W.­ Nesbitt.­ He preceded her in death.­

Mrs.­ Nesbitt was a member of the First Christian Church of Springfield since 1903 and Honorary Life Member of the Lane County Historical Society and the Willamalane Golden Age Club.­

Surviving are 2 daughters & 2 sons: Mabel McPherson of Springfield, Mrs.­ Carroll (Esther) Adams of Tillamook, LaVerne S.­ McPherson of Coburg, Dr.­ Virgil L.­ McPherson of Dallas, Oregon; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-­grandchildren; 1 brother, Ross Calvert of Junction City; 1 sister, Katy Buss of Harrisburg; numerous nieces and nephews.­

Funeral services will be held at the BURNS-­FREDERICKSEN FUNERAL HOME, Springfield, Saturday, November 30, 1974 at 2 p.­m.­ with Dr.­ Ward Rice officiating.­ The family requests that those who wish may contribute to the First Christian Church of Springfield Memorial Fund in her memory.­ Private interment will follow at the Mulkey Cemetery.­
