NESBITT--Stella Ann Nesbitt of 2075 Laura Street, Springfield died November 27, 1974.
A lifelong resident of Lane County, she was born September 8, 1883 at Junction City, Oregon and was married to Allen W. Nesbitt. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Nesbitt was a member of the First Christian Church of Springfield since 1903 and Honorary Life Member of the Lane County Historical Society and the Willamalane Golden Age Club.
Surviving are 2 daughters & 2 sons: Mabel McPherson of Springfield, Mrs. Carroll (Esther) Adams of Tillamook, LaVerne S. McPherson of Coburg, Dr. Virgil L. McPherson of Dallas, Oregon; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Ross Calvert of Junction City; 1 sister, Katy Buss of Harrisburg; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the BURNS-FREDERICKSEN FUNERAL HOME, Springfield, Saturday, November 30, 1974 at 2 p.m. with Dr. Ward Rice officiating. The family requests that those who wish may contribute to the First Christian Church of Springfield Memorial Fund in her memory. Private interment will follow at the Mulkey Cemetery.
