Robert Brander Hicks Sr. died Aug. 2, 2007, at age 94, at Countyvilla Riverview. He resided in Janesville, Calif

He was born October 7, 1912 in Sutter County, Calif.

He is survived by his sons Robert Hicks, Peter Francis Hicks, and Jamie Lee Hicks; and daughter Ruth Devina Blickenstaff. Also surviving are 41 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by one daughter and five siblings.
