Chester Cebert Ferrell, 87, of Ronda died April 20, 199 in Memorial Division, CAMC, after a short illness.
He had been owner and operator of Twin Star Grocery, Ronda, since 1938, was founder, Sunday school teacher and superintendent of Full Gospel Church, Ronda, a graduate of East Bank High and Rio Grande (Ohio) College, a former teacher in Putnam County, an insurance agent for Life of Virginia, and a former employee of Otis Steel of Cleveland, Ohio, and U.S. Marine Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio Surviving: son, Richard Lee and John M., both of Ronda, Charles R. of Troy, Ohio; stepson, Gary M. Schmidt of Buckhannon, Dewey F. Schmidt of Miami; daughter, Diane Dickens of Ronda; 21 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Thursday at Ronda Full Gospel Tabernacle. Pryor Funeral Home, East Bank, is in charge of arrangements.
