He was born near Tensaw, AL in a community called Pine Log, which was near Ft. Mimms There is only a creek there now.
He was the son of Joseph Henry Harrison Andrews and Fredonia 'Donia' Braxton Andrews. He had 13 siblings, and 6 half siblings.
He was a very hard working man. Up until age late 30's, he did sawmill work. Then he married my mama and worked hard on a farm making a living for us. He would boil peanuts, and parch peanuts and sell them. I appreciate everything that my Daddy did for me. Thank you, Daddy, I miss you very much.
