Beverly M. Wright was the son of David Wright and Amelia Hurt Crews. From age 9 to age 18 Beverly lived in Macon County Illinois. Beverly moved to Goodhue County Minnesota in 1860. He mustered into Company A 5th Minnesota Infantry on 19 December 1861, He was promoted to Corp. Beverly died August 30, 1862 coming up the Mississipppi river on a steamer, which his family met expecting to find a sick man, Beverly died age 20 yrs 9 months as a 1st corp.

pension card = his mother Amelia Wright applied for a mothers pension 7-22-1864.
