Jose Joaquin Aldasoro was born Feb 15, 1891 in Mutiloa, Spain, a son of Jose Maria & Maria Juana Telluria Aldasoro. He immigrated to the US, arriving in New York March 16, 1913 aboard the ship "La Provence".

He married Christina Basterrechea Aguirre and they were the parents of a daughter, Mary Louise, and a son, Albert John.

Joaquin's sister Josefa, married Christina's brother Prudencio, and the two couples raised their families together in Utah and Colorado.

Joaquin died Oct 30, 1964 in Mesa, Colorado.

PRICE- Joaquin John Aldasoro, 73, Price, died of a heart ailment Friday at 6:30 a.m. in a Grand Junction, Colo., hospital. Born Feb 13, 1891, Mutiloa, Guipuzcoa, Spain, to Jose Maria and Maria Juana Telluria Aldasoro. Married Christina Basterrechea Sept. 22, 1927, Salt Lake City.

Survivors: widow; son Albert, Price; daughter, Mrs. Bruce (Mary Louise) Leonard, Boise; five grandchildren; brothers, sisters, Mrs. Josefa Aguirre, Price; Mrs. Francisca _paraguirre, Bernardo Aldasoro, Juanita Aldasoro, all Spain.


Requiem Mass Thursday 11 a.m., Notre Dame Catholic Church. Holy Rosary Wednesday 7:30 p.m. Mitchell Funeral Chapel, where friends call Tuesday, Wednesday prior to Rosary. Burial Price City Cemetery, graveside rites by Price Elks Lodge.
