FORT MYERS NEWS-PRESS - January 5, 1965 - James G. Blakley, 69, of 459 Palermo Circle,Fort Myers Beach, died yesterday. He had been a resident there for the past 42 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pearl M. Blakley; one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Gray; his mother, Mrs. Lighter L. Blakley; a brother, Clarence L. Blakley; one sister, Mrs. Ollie P. Cowart, Fort Myers Beach. He was a member of the Fort Myers Beach Methodist Church and a veteran of World War I.
Funeral service will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Leo W. Engelhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Clinton E. Logan officiating. Burial will be private in Fort Myers Cemetery.
