Alvena E. Folladori - Dec. 29, 1929 - Sept. 5, 2007
Alvena E. Folladori, 77, of Sterling, died Sept. 5, 2007, in Sterling.
Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at Tennant Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday Sept. 10, at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Deacon Ron Michieli officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
Mrs. Follardori was born Dec. 29, 1929, to John Amen and Katherine (Koch) Amen in Sterling. She attended Merino schools, graduating from Merino High School. She then attended Northeastern Junior College. On Dec. 26, 1956, she married Eugene Folladori in Sterling. They were married for 50 years. She worked part time as a secretary early in her life. She then spent most of her marriage as a home maker. She enjoyed bowling, volunteering at St. Anthony's grade school, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Follardori is survived by her husband, Gene of Sterling; son, Dan Folladori and wife Liz of Hudson, Iowa; daughters, Laurie Folladori and Mary Joyce and husband Mark, all of Fort Collins, and Susan Green and husband Paul of Loveland; and eight grandchildren.
She was proceded in death by her parents; five sisters; and one brother.
Memorials may be made to St. Anthony's Elementary School, 326 S. 3rd St., Sterling, CO 80751
