SLIGO - Samuel Harrison Weckerly, West Freedom, died at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday in his home.

Mr. Weckerly was born January 31, 1877, the son of Jacob and Rosanna Young. He was married August 20, 1902 to Celia Fox, who survives.

He was a member of the West Freedom Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Donald W. (Harriet) Brown of Grove City and Mrs. Charles R. (Estella) Sheakley of Karns City RD; two sone, Homer of Wyandott, Michigan and Samuel of Parker RD; 20 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Mamie) Ertwine of Parker RD and Mrs. Brainard (Pearl) McKinney of Emlenton RD and two brothers, Ernest and Charles of Parker RD. There are a number of nieces and nephews also surviving.

One daughter, Dorothy and one granddaughter, Alice Jean, preceded him in death.

Services will be held in Hawk Funeral Home, Sligo, at 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. David Lutz, pastor of the West Freedom Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be made in West Freedom Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Hawk Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and up to the service time on Thursday.
