OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)
Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Dilla Bridges Akers, 67, who died Sunday in Long Beach, Calif., after a critical illness of about a months' duration.

Mrs. Akers was well-known in Wabash where she was born and made her home here for many years. She was an active member of the Presbyterian Church and the Eastern Star. For the past few years she had made her home in California. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bridges.

Survivors are a son, Floyd, who lives in Washington D.C., a brother, Ed Bridges, of Wabash, a sister, Mrs. James Bachelor of San Francisco, Calif., and a number of nieces and nephews.

The body will be brought to Wabash and taken to the Hoover Funeral home upon arrival. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
