Kenny, age 62, died Friday in Fitchburg. He was born the son of Charles & Marcella "Sally" (Hochmuth) Krall. Kenny graduated from Waunakee High School in 1965. He was a Vietnam veteran and served on active duty in the U.S. Navy from 1965 - 1967. He married Pauline Statz on May 3, 1969, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Waunakee. Kenny was a carpenter with J.H. Findorff and Esser Construction until his retirement in 1996. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 314, the American Legion Post 360 and St. Peter's Catholic Church. In addition to being a gifted carpenter he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved spending time at his cabin and tinkering in his boathouse. Kenny is survived by his wife, Pauline of Madison; a daughter, Karen (Chris) Kreft of Sun Prairie; a son, Steelworker Chief Petty Officer Kevin (Leyda) Krall of Gulfport, Miss.; four granddaughters, Samantha and Emily Kreft, and Thea and Bridney Cauble; special cousins, Jim (Teri) Finnegan of Madison, and Pat Ishazaki of Madison; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Maureen (Bob) Weber of DeForest; brothers and sisters-in-law, Russell (Deb Endres) Statz of Waunakee, and Stan (Carrie) Statz of Waunakee; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Peter Catholic Church, Madison, with Father Roger Nilles officiating. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery. .
