Margaret (also had been recorded as Marguerite) was the daughter of Joel & Louisa (nee Murphy) Zolman. The Murphys were a prominent family in the area, finding the "Murphy Settlement" which became Farmington. The Zolmans were a large farming family that came from Fredericktown in Knox County, Ohio around 1837.
