(Marcoot) - Our community was saddened when the sad news reached here Saturday of the death of Mrs. Loyd Hamilton, of near Hogansville, Ga. She was before her marriage Miss Jessie Davis, and lived most of her life in and around this community. She was loved by all who knew her. She leaves to mourn her going a husband and seven children, four boys and three girls; five sisters, one brother and a host of other relatives. She was laid to rest in the cemetery at Macedonia, with Elders Prather and Powell being the officiating ministers.
