Alvin "Cotton" Ray 82 of Eaton Township, Oh has passed away. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday Dec. 8 at 11 am from the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. with Roland Smith officiation. Burial we be in Hedgecoth Cemetery. Visitation will be today (Friday) from 2 till4 pm and from 7 till 9 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Ray was born in Meridian, Tn in 1919 and moved to Crossville to Eaton Township in 1944. He retired from the Grafton,Ohio Street Department. He is survived by his daughters Carrie Friedenstab of Elyria, Oh, Patsy Blackburn of Loudonville, Oh. Dorthy Ray and Donna Ray both of Grafton, Oh, Jean McCamish of Athens, Oh, and Mary Milhoan of North Canton, Oh son Kevin Ray Grafton, Oh brother Eugene Ray of Middleburg Heights Oh, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Ella Ray who passed away in 1988. twin infant sons, grandson James Alvin McCamish, three brothers and five sisters.
