MRS. ROSS BURIED HERE SATURDAY
Funeral services for a long time Texico resident, Mrs. Edna (Grannie) Ross, were conducted Saturday, March 20, at Sherwood Memorial Chapel in Clovis with Ebb Randol, Church of Christ minister from Ft. Sumner, officiating.
Mrs. Ross, who died at Hillcrest Hospitality Home on Wednesday, was 89 years of age. She had lived in a nursing home for about five years.
She is survived by one son, Frank, of Stockton, Calif.; two daughters, Mona Coburn of Farwell and Clona Ross of San Antonio; a brother, Dee Raspberry of Lubbock; a sister, Delpha Cook of Abilene; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddhild.
Burial was in the Texico Cemetery with Sherwood Mortuary in charge.
Pallbearers were Perry Winkles, Orvel Walls, W. T. Smith, Lester Norton, Judge Stone and John Hightower.
