Cecil McKinney Jr.
Funeral services for Cecil McKinney Jr., 67, of Seguin will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, 1995 at St Andrew's Episcopal Church with Father Sam Gottlieb and the Rev. G. Patterson Connell officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery under the direction of Goetz Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1-9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, at the funeral home. Mr. McKinney died Saturday, Feb. 18.
He was a former vice president of First National Bank of Seguin and was very involved in the community. He was active in the Seguin and Guadalupe County Chamber of Commerce and also instrumental in much of the industrial development of Seguin. Survivors include children. Terry Boehnke and husband Ralph of Seguin and Barry McKinney of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Ann Boehnke, Michael Boehnke and Kellis McKinney; his mother, Edna McKinney of Seguin; and numerous friends, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil McKinney Sr. Memorials may be made to the Teddy Buerger Center at Guadalupe Valley Hospital.
