Son of Robert and Parlee Ellison Asbill.Services for Dallas Clayton ASBILL, 72, of Sallisaw will be held Thursday July 18, at 2 p.m. in the Wheeler Chapel with the Rev. Ira Brackett officiating. Interment will be in the Northview Cemetery under the direction of Wheeler Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
Mr. ASBILL died Monday, July 15, at Sequoyah Memorial Hospital in Sallisaw. He was born July 30, 1913 to Robert ASBILL and Paralee ELLISON in Sequoyah County.
Survivors include the wife, Julia Katherine ASBILL, of the home; 5 sons, Doug, Gerald and Harold, James, and Dallas Jr.; 2 stepsons, Harold and Gary Don; 3 stepdaughters, Phyllis BARGER and Jimmy Lou McKEAN of Sallisaw and Carol Sue. Also, 1 brother, Grady; 6 sister, Belle, Willie, Jessie, Grace, Maudie, Eula; 27 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Mr. ASBILL was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Miles ASBILL and Melvin ASBILL and 1 sister, Nanny WALTERS.
