BARBARA JEAN HALE, 59, departed this life on Thursday, May 14, 2009, at Methodist Hospital-South lake, Mer-rillville, Ind. Surviving are her mother, Yvonne Y. Moore; children, April L. Moore, Carolyn J. Moore and Socrates W. Bragg; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Tonya (Donnie) Brooks, Kevin Hale, and Katrina Hale; brothers, Welton (Regina) Moore Jr., Tyrone (Shirley) Moore and Benjamin Harvey; and sisters, Benita Moore, Tanya Billingsley, Lavonya Moore, and Shirley (Johnny) Sewell; and a host of other relatives and close friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Welton Moore Sr.; husband, Drothy; grandson, Jamaal Baldon; sister, Annie Louis Mosley; and brother, Rossie Lee Thompson. Service is noon Saturday at Greater Mount Ararat Baptist Church, 2111 Edsall Ave., with calling one hour prior. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Ho
