EDWARD B. HARDESTY
ASHTON -- Services for Edward B. Hardesty, 85, who died Monday in his home in Lafayette township, Ogle county, will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday in the Cluts funeral home.
The Rev. Chester Patton, retired minister, will officiate. Burial will be in Washington Grove cemetery.
Mr. Hardesty was born in Pine Rock township, Ogle county, son of George A. and Amanda Burton Hardesty. He married Catherine Schaneberg July 21, 1900. He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are a son, Clarence R., of rural Ashton; and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Girton, Eldena.
