Martha Ann Allen a native born Tennessean, daughter of Jeremiah Allen born March 19, 1806 North Carolina - died June 26, 1883 and Elizabeth Dunbar born 1807 - died December 2, 1871. This family was living in Fayette County, Tennessee in 1840. (Birth and dates dates and maiden name of Elizabeth was provided by Audrey Rother).

The 1850 Bastrop County Census lists J. (Jeremiah) Allen born NC age 44, with family E. (Elizabeth Dunbar) Allen age 43, J. T. (James T.) age 19, Sarah age 12, George age 10, Texana age 2.

Bastrop County Marriage Record lists a Jeremiah Allen to Mrs. Martha W. Kennedy Aug 24, 1873.

Turner born February 2, 1858) age 22, male; A. I. Alsup age 14 female (probably Alice Inez Tanner born October 8, 1866) and F. R. Alsup age 18 female (probably Francis Aarrilla Alsup) born June 18, 1862.
