Paul's parents were Archibald and Elizabeth Beacham. The family stayed on land owned by the Piedmont Manufactoring Company, Williamston Township, just outside Anderson, South Carolina. Most probably his parents worked in the cotton mill. Archibald was born May 1821, Elizabeth August of 1823. In 1900 his siblings were Mary (Smith)born 1879, Carrie born August 1881, Birtie born January 1883,and Myra born August 1885. Paul's sister Mary gave birth to Lela Smith in 1898. By 1910 they moved to Highland of Greenville. All of the family immediate members had left home except Paul being the youngest. Paul married Sara Nelle about 1911. In 1930 their household was in Greenville, South Carolina. They had two sons, Nickelo B. born 1912, and Paul Franklin Jr. born 1914. It is known that Dr. Paul Franklin Beacham became President of Holmes Bible College in 1919 after the retirement of Nichols J. Holmes. He was President for 59 years until his death. This man influenced many thousands into full time Christian service. I graduated myself from Holmes in 1970. Bill Pittman
