MARGARET THOMAS
Malad - Mrs. Margaret Jones Thomas, 80, died Saturday morning in the Oneida County Hospital in Malad of a cerebral hemorrhage.
She was born July 9, 1989, at Malad to William T. and Mary Evans Jones. She was married to Benjamin Frank Thomas April 6, at Malad. He died 20 years ago.
She received her education in Malad schools and was a member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include five sons and one daughter, D. LeRoy Thomas, Malad; Frank, Long Beach, Calif.; Claude, Rock Springs, Wyoming; Ralph, Medford, Ore.; Farrel, Philadelphia, and Mrs. Morse Anderson, Sunny Vale, Calif. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Ruth McKay, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Elizabeth Hughes, and Mrs. Jane Evans, both of Malad.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Malad Third Ward LDS Chapel with Bishop Hubert Gleed officiating. Friends may call at Benson Funeral Home Monday evening and Tuesday before services. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
