He had been employed by a Rialto Construction firm as a carpenter. He was a member of the San Bernardino Carpenter's Union Local No 499.
Survivors include the widow, Betty C Rialto; a daughter, Janice Overbey, and a son Zoneth Overbey, both of Rialto; two brothers, M C Barron and Buster Barron, both of Texas; and four sisters, Mrs Mae Townzen, Ranger, Tex; Mrs Bonnie Perry, Iowa Park Tex; Mrs Joseph Plummer, Odessa, Tex; and Mrs O H Petty, Graham, Tex.
Services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday at Ralph Wm Allen Funeral Home in Rialto with the Rev Clyde A Rhone of the First Church of the Nazarene officiating. Interment will be in Montecito Memorial Park.
