In August of 1926 John disappeared without a trace. John's mother thought that he was murdered in Texas but others say he died about 1957 in either Texas or Mexico at a bull fight. The date of 1957 is based on a package that his son received in the mail from Mexico. The package had his father's belt buckle and wallet. There was no message included in the package.
