Donald R. Mangrum

Donald R. Mangrum, 51, Indianapolis, died Sunday at his home. He has family members in Shelby County.

Mr. Mangrum was an inspector for General Motors Truck and Bus Division, Indianapolis, for 22 years. He retired in 1995. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 23.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Mangrum is survived by his wife, Dorothy L. (House) Mangrum; three children, Terry Lee Mangrum, Matthew Mangrum and Mark Mangrum; a brother, Norman Mangrum; three sisters, Betty Gray, Rita Mangrum and Donna Rackemann; his mother and stepfather, Opal (Cast) and David Lowe; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Flanner and Buchanan Decatur Township Mortuary, Indianapolis. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
