Our dearly beloved husband, father, grandpa, and friend, Beryldean Cloward, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 1994 at the Mountain View Hospital in Payson.

Beryldean was born on September 2, 1916 in Salem, Utah, the son of Leslie and Rowena Haskel Cloward. He was raised by Parley P. and Ada Cloward, his grandparents, after his mother's death when he was two-years-old.

He married June Thomas on June 29, 1939. This marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Beryldean was a farmer and steel worker most of his life. He had his farm in Salem for 12 years, while also working at Geneva Steel Plant in Orem. He sold his farm and moved to Spanish Fork in 1953. He retired from Geneva Steel in 1977, after 32 years of employment.

Our husband and father was an avid sportsman. He loved to hunt and fish. His most observable love was his yard and garden. Beryldean has a tremendous love for his children and grandchildren.

His love and generosity will be remembered and treasured by those he touched.

He was an active member of the LDS 9th Ward, serving in the capacity of High Priest.

He is survived by his wife, June, of Spanish Fork; three sons and one daughter: Richard and Sharon Cloward, of Sandy; Brent and Karen Cloward, of American Fork; Steven and Elaine Cloward, of Littleton, Colorado; Karen and Michael Daniels, of Spanish Fork; 18 grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers: Elva Killian, of Salt Lake City; Gordon Cloward, of Spanish Fork; Glade Cloward, of Palmyra; and Leah Warren, of California. He was preceded in death by one sister: Faye Holden and one granddaughter, Jeanette Cloward.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 16, 1994 at 1 p.m. in the Spanish Fork 9th LDS Ward Chapel, 90 South Main, Spanish Fork. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork on Thursday evening 6-8 p.m. or Friday at the mortuary from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial in the Salem City Cemetery.
