Another of our well-known eminent citizens, we regret to learn, is numbered with the dead. The New York Express states that Robert J. Ward died recently in Helena, Ark. This is a sad announcement to many in this city and Louisville and, indeed, throughout the Southwest. Robert J. Ward will long be remembered as a public-spirited citizen, an enterprising merchant, and a high-minded, noble man.
