MONTICELLO — Dawson C. Brown, 67, of Battle Ground, died Friday in Veterans hospital, Indianapolis, where he was admitted Thursday evening. He was born
in White county and in 1921 he married Frances E. Grimes Williams. He was a farmer and a veteran of World War I. Surviving with the widow are one stepson, Charles Williams, of Arcadia, Calif.; a brother, Harry C. Brown of Battle Ground; and a sister, Mrs. Andy Gipson of Delphi. Funeral services will be held at the Murphy Funeral Home, Lafayette Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ralph Cunningham officiating. Burial will be made in the Cairo Cemetery.
