Sam Hollingshead, son of Charles and Lucinda Hollingshead, was born in Lucas County, Ia., January 11, 1898 and passed away July 17, 1965
Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Maude and four children: Mrs. Marilyn Overton, Gayle and Marvin of Des Moines and Daniel of Cedar Rapids.
Other survivors are Mrs. Faye Blubaugh of East Moline, Ill.; Mrs. Opal Wells and Everett Hollingshead of Chariton; Ernest Hollingshead of Salt Lake City, Utah; and nine grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
