Per the Alabama, U.S., Census of Confederate Soldiers, 1907, 1921-Ancestry.com, Louis Henry enlisted in the Confederate Army in Millport, Lamar County, Alabama in the Spring of 1862 when he was twenty years old. He served in Company B of the 41st Alabama Regiment. He surrendered with Lee.
