Mrs. Margaret Guetzloe, 86, a former Kiel resident, died Thursday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Viola Luehrs, of 2112 Wisconsin Ave., New Holstein.
Mrs. Guetzloe was born Nov. 15, 1875, in the Town of Rhine, Sheboygan County, daughter of the late Peter and Margaret Schad Menne. She was married to Charles Guetzloe at Kiel on Jan. 27, 1894. The couple resided at Kiel where her husband was superintendent of Kiel Furniture Co. He preceded her in death in February 1948. She then made her home with her daughter. She was a member of Kiel Frauen Verein and Royal Neighbors of America.
Survivors include a son, Royal of Minneapolis, Minn., four daughters, Miss Lillian Guetzloe of Milwaukee, Mrs. Viola Luehrs and Mrs. Minerva Aggen of New Holstein and Mrs. Lawrence Henning of Kiel, eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
