Burial was in Woodside Cemetery, Grand Saline.
Mr. Wright died January 4, 2001, in Fruitvale.
He was born June 5, 1946, in Fruitvale to the late Milton Isaac and Joella Zetty Wright. He served in the U. S. Air Force. He retired from Sears & Roebuck after 20 years of service. He served on the Fruitvale School Board for a number of years. He was elected a director of Fruitvale Housing Authority in 1980 and served for 21 years. In 1992, he opened his own business, Wright Stuff, in Fruitvale. He was a member of Fruitvale Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Wright.
