Tyson Allen Lay, 29, of Shelbyville, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at his home.
Born Feb. 10, 1977, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Herbert Allen Lay and Polly (Siead) Lay.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Lisa Lay, of Shelbyville; mother of Indianapolis; one son, Ethan Allen Lay of Shelbyville; two brothers, H. Travis Lay and Trevor Siead Lay, both of Shelbyville; grandparents, Pierre Siead of Florida, George Herbert (wife, Denise) Lay of Tennessee, Jean (husband, Ray) Cecil of Shelbyville; great-grandmother, Alice Hayes of Shelbyville; aunt, Sally Andrews of Shelbyville; and girl friend, Melony Bell of Shelbyville.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy Siead.
Mr. Lay graduated in 1995 from Hauser High School and had attended Vincennes University.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sheila Williamson officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
