Mr. John Shattuck
who departed this life
Dec. 15th, 1785;
Aged 74 years, 6 months
and 12 days.

He left to mourn his death,
a sorrowful widow, three sons and
four daughters.

He was a man of pious exemplary
conduct and conversation.

The hoary head is a crown of
glory when found in the way
of righteousness.
