Danny was a wonderful man who left us too soon after a long battle with acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL), now 90% curable. He was never one to complain about his illness. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was loved by all who knew him.
Danny died a quadraplegic in Vanderbilt Univ Hospital as the result of a bone marrow transplant which left him paralyzed. Cured of the cancer, died of the cure. Thirty-four years was not long enough.
If you have questions surrounding Danny’s death, the death certificate can be purchased from the State of Tennessee. Find A Grave is not a 12 Step Program for forgiveness, (specifically steps numbers 8. and 5. Make a list of all persons you had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all and admit to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs). Clearly in life, there is a point where one can never go back!
