OBITUARY
Mr. George Gober, one of the oldest citizens of the county died at his home near Leedy, Miss., Monday, as the result of a fall about two weeks ago when he fractured his hip.

Mr. Gober was a native of Franklin County, Ala., and moved to Tishomingo nearly a half century ago. Funeral services and interment took place at Little Flock, near Burnsville, Tuesday afternoon.

Mr. Gober was about 89 years of age and the father of Mrs. Veto Ligon, Mrs. J. W. Hardwick, Mrs. J. E. Wright, Mrs. R. S. Owens, Mrs. J. A. Shackelford, Mrs. Alton Davis and J. H. Gober all of Tishomingo County, and the grandfather of Harvey Gober and Mrs. Ruby Densmore of Iuka.
