Mary Pauline Adams
Mary Pauline Adams, 85, of Fulton, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, at Callaway Community Hospital.
She was born Aug. 24, 1921, in Englewood, to the late Nolan F. and Clara Belle (Hendricks) Sampson. On Nov. 6, 1937, she married Frank Emmett Adams. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Earl Adams of Fulton and Emmett Adams of Van Nuys, Calif.; four daughters, Carolyn Gentry of Laurie, Mary Mealy and Brenda Bowen, both of Fulton, and Nancy Adams of Kingdom City; 17 grandchildren, Russell Gentry, Robert Adams, Bill E. Brewer, Steven G. Brewer, David Brewer, Philip Brewer, Douglas Mealy, Charles Mealy, John E. Fletcher, Matthew Fletcher, Brian Adams, Anthony Adams, Frank Adams, Kathryn Wade Casadei, Karen L. Motsinger, Sandy Smart, and Megan Grissom. 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen Shouse of Mexico; and three brothers, Curtis Sampson and Wilbur G. Sampson, both of Mexico, and Harold S. Sampson of Somerset, Ky.
She also was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Mrs. Adams worked for International Shoe Factory, Fulton State Hospital and Saults Restaurant.
Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Interment will be held at Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
