LINCOLN --- Clifford Merritt Musick, 42, a carpenter, died at 1 a.m. Sunday at his home in the Zion community north of Lincoln. He had been ill six months.

The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home and at 2 p.m. at the First Methodist Episcopal church with the Rev. Laren Spear officiating. Burial will be in Zion cemetery.

He was born Aug. 22, 1895, near Lincoln and married Betty Menzel Nov. 6, 1914, at Joliet. She survives with two sons: Walter Stanley and Edward Clifford Musick. A brother and three sisters also survive: J. L. Musick, Mrs. Bertha Martinie, Lincoln; Bessie Musick, Milwaukee, Wis., and Lib Wubbens, Mt. Pulaski.

Mr. Musick farmed seven years and for three had been employed as a carpenter.
