ATOKA -- Thelma Bomar Brumley, 71, retired supervisor of personal services for the Navy Exchange, died Saturday at Methodist Hospital North in Memphis after a long illness. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Munford (Tenn.) Funeral Home with burial in Helen Crigger Cemetery there. She was a member of Campground United Methodist Church. Mrs. Brumley, the widow of Jimmy Lee Brumley, leaves a daughter, Judy Horseman McKelvy of Atoka; a stepdaughter, Anne Horseman Wansley of Memphis; three sisters, Cammie Bomar Hammett of Memphis, Annie Bomar Kirkland of Millington and Patricia Bomar Willers of Atoka; three brothers, Walter L. Bomar Jr., of Memphis, and James C. Bomar and Kenneth E. Bomar, both of Atoka; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. (Published in The Commercial Appeal 1/10/1994)
