Funeral services were held May 8 at Bentley-Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline, MO, with Rev. Martin Baker offocoating.

Burial was in Locke Cemetery, southeast of Marceline.

Hallie was born March 10, 1913, in Westville,MO, daughter of Abraham Alanzo and Ethel Vernetta (Simmons) Sportsman.

She married Homer G. Phillips, Nov 29, 1930. He preceded her in death, Dec 1, 1985.

She is survived by 4 Sons; 4 Daughters, 21 Grandchildren, Several Great-Grandchildren; 2 Brothers, 4 Sisters.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one Son, Ray Phillips, two brothers, Frank Sportsman and Howard Sportsman; and one sister, Bertha (Sportsman) Armer.
