EUNICE - Funeral services for Mrs. Ezia Young will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Anthony Catholic Church here with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Young died Sunday, March 1, 1998, in Lafayette General Medical Center. She resided in Lafayette for the last year, but prior to that she was a long-time resident of Eunice.
Mrs. Young was active on several committees that were for the resident of the Eunice Care Center.
Survivors include: two stepsons, Joe Young of Mary Esther, Fla., and Ira Young of Lafayette; two stepdaughters, Juanita McCain of New Orleans and Barbara Platt of Bella Vista, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Aline LaFond Stelly of Eunice and Mrs. Lucy Quebedeaux of Abbeville; her special niece, Mrs. Irene Stagg of Eunice; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Young; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Portalis Andrepont.
Visiting hours will be observed from 1 to 10 p.m. today and from 7 a.m. Tuesday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
