Funeral Services For Mrs. Gilchrist
The funeral of Mrs. Laura Gilchrist, 79, resident of Great Falls since 1890, who died Friday, will be held in the First Presbyterian Church at 2 this afternoon. Burial will be in Highland cemetery.
Mrs. Gilchrist was a native of Iowa. The family moved to Great Falls in 1890 and Mr. Gilchrist formed a partnership with E.V. Rubottom to conduct the Como company here. Mr. Gilchrist died in 1908.
The only child surviving is Miss Gara M. Gilchrist, a member of The Leader business staff. Fred Carter, a nephew lives here. Carter V. Rubottom of Livingston, a nephew, and his wife will attend the funeral.
