CLINTON ROSS APPLE

Clinton Ross Apple was born July 31, 1994, in Amarillo, Texas to Anje Waalkes and Leon Apple. He was taken to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 14, 2009 in Amarillo, Texas.

Clint was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed his ranch life helping raise angus cattle and registered quarter horses.

Clint excelled as a eighth grade student and was respected in the Boise City Public School. Clint was very active in the Boise City School band, choir, and participated in sports.

Clint was a Life Member of the American Quarter Horse Association and participated in the 4-H horse shows all the way to state competition. Clint was loved by many people, everyone who knew him saw his witty personality and his love for life.

Clint is survived by his parents, Leon and Debbie Apple of the home and Anje and Justin Waalkes of Black Butte Ranch, Oregon; a brother Dillon Apple of the home; a sister Jennifer and husband Cody Anderton and a nephew Coy of Folsom, New Mexico; his grand parents; Bobby and Jane Apple of Kenton, Oklahoma and Carl and Maynon Benson of Amarillo, Texas; his great-grandmothers; Ina Kay Labrier of Kenton and Frances Benson of Cleburne, Texas and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral services were held Monday morning, May 18, 2009 at 10:30am at the Boise City High School Auditorium, in Boise City, Oklahoma, with Jim Hewett and Brian Long, officiating.
Interment followed in the Kenton Cemetery, Kenton, Oklahoma.

A memorial has been established for the Clint Apple Memorial and may be left in care of the mortuary.
