Donal Cable, 77, of Clark died at 12:09 a.m. Saturday in Moberly Regional Medical Center, where he had been on eweek. Mr. Cable was taken to the hospital by the Randolph County Ambulance after suffering a heart attack at the home of his daughter and son in law..
Born in Clark on June 14, 1912, he was a son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Cannon Cable. Married to the former Mary Bradley on June 14, 1934, in Moberly, he was retired from the Missouri Training Center for Men, south of Moberly. Mr. Cable had been a farmer all his life in the Clark area.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Kenneth.
Surviving are his wife, Mary of the home; daughter and son in law, Darlene and Calvin Ornburn, Moberly; brother, Fred, Moberly; two sisters, Carlene Lewis, Moberly, and Opal Smith, also of Moberly; grandchildren, Tammy Overy, Dewitt, IA; Marty and Wanda Ornburn, Moberly; great-grandchildren, Jessica and Zachery Overy and Bridgett and Aaron Ornburn; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in Cater Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Chapel Grove Cemetery at Clark. Rev. Mike Hamilton will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m., Sunday at Cater's.
